Engine base

The Q500 is equipped with the N2.10, a sturdy and efficient Kubota base engine, tested in all marine or industrial applications throughout the world.
The E-TVCS combustion and injection system considerably reduces particulate emission and smoke while dramatically improving fuel efficiency.

Cooling system

The engine and the alternator are cooled thanks to a system coolant/seawater that bring to this generator set a maximal life
span and a smooth functioning.

Sound shield

The soundproof is completely made in polyester dust painted marine aluminium (Alloy 5754 H111), with support structure to the which are applied fi ve panels complete with retractable locking levers easily
removable. This gives the Generating Set a maximum threshold of 54 dB at 7 meters – the equivalent of a dishwasher.

Electric connections, water inlet and outlet joints as well as the exhaust pipe are integrated into the cocoon.
